Geoffrey is the founder of The Georgia R School. He has been conducting in-person and online workshops and classes on PLS and R for several years.
Geoffrey is an affiliate faculty member of the Department of Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia. He has been affiliated with VCU for 15 years, first as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems, and then as a tenured Associate Professor and then again as a Visiting Associate Professor of Information Systems. Geoffrey was also on the faculty of Georgia State University as an Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems for 9 years. He earned a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida in 1993, an MBA from George Mason University in 1979 and a BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia in 1972.
Geoffrey is an active researcher and has been published in MIS Quarterly, ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, DATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems, Information & Management, Information Technology & People, Journal of Global Information Management, International Journal of Human Computer Studies, International Journal of Technology and Human Interaction, Journal of Organizational and End User Computing and Journal of Information Technology Management.
